Thank you to all those who have contacted me about this issue.
On Monday 12 March, I received a letter from the David Lidington, the Minister for the Cabinet Office regarding the Government’s plans for devolved powers under the Brexit legislation.
I have attached a copy of the letter to this webpage for your reference and I am pleased to say it shows that the Government have listened carefully to the concerns raised and have significantly amended the Great Repeal Bill legislation to deliver the twin objectives of increasing the powers under devolution settlements whilst protecting the UK Common Market.
I hope you find this information reassuring.
